1 week

It's been a good week of resting. Learning much about God and life, catching up with friends and being productive at work.

I find myself going through ups and downs this week.

Downs can really be downs, wonder how am i going to last through it in the long term. For a start, it must try not to hate people and things.

Ups are wonderful, to learn so much about God and to be able to hear also from different people gives learning a new dimension. Its being a long while since i really learn things in 1 on 1 or small grp setting.

There is lots of uncertainty ahead still, but ... I know tt courage arises from God and no other.

Learning

You learn lots about yourself as time goes by especially in the situations that God throws you into. Character is built along the way but there is still so much to learn. It's a bittersweet experience I must say. Well, if the ultimate aim is to be more Christlike and to be more refined by him, then just have to stomach it and accept that at least it's in an environment whereby God will surround you with his love and push you to lean on him and no other.

Effective Communication

There's more to effective communication than putting together and then practicing the right message. Picking the right time and place to convey it is also crucial.

Holidays

I'm thankful for the meet up. A full day of being with people who are on the same path, who truly can understand and can relate best about your own situations. It's good to be in that company knowing that we do support and help one another if there is a need.

Sometimes, it's good to be with this group of friends than others though you might see them more often than not. Maybe familiarity causes people to take you for granted.

Time to get back to work. God promises never fail you even when men has failed you countless times. Fix your eyes on the one and only person in life worth living for.

James 5:7-11

Be patient, then, brothers, until the Lord's coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop and how patient he is for the autumn and spring rains. You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord's coming is near. Don't grumble against each other, brothers, or you will be judged. The Judge is standing at the door!

Brothers, as an example of patience in the face of suffering, take the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord. As you know, we consider blessed those who have persevered. You have heard of Job's perseverance and have seen what the Lord finally brought about. The Lord is full of compassion and mercy.

Born Free

Born free, as free as the wind blows
As free as the grass grows
Born free to follow your heart

Live free and beauty surrounds you
The world still astounds you
Each time you look at a star

Stay free, where no walls divide you
You're free as the roaring tide
So there's no need to hide

Born free, and life is worth living
But only worth living
'cause you're born free

(Stay free, where no walls divide you)
You're free as the roaring tide
So there's no need to hide

Born free, and life is worth living
But only worth living
'cause you're born free

Awakening

Times like this is where you know the in and out. I'm thankful for the lessons learnt on how fragile it is that my stupidity has led me to hold onto it. Today is the day when i awake and realise what i need to do.
